My wife can blame me for this Ocean Park Puzzle from MasterPieces. It was my idea to get it. We were at the house of someone that we met on FB that wanted to trade puzzles. After exchanging a few photos, we hauled over 30+ puzzles. I was excited about making a dent in our ‘done pile’. Well, so much for that idea because we came home with 40+ puzzles. Not that I’m complaining. They’re all awesome! But now our ‘to-do pile’ is huge.

Bring It On!
One of the puzzles I picked was this Ocean Park Puzzle from MasterPieces. I liked the scene in it. I liked the way it felt like working on an actual painting. It had an ‘old-time’ feel to it. From the outset, though, it was obvious this was going to be a challenge. Even sorting the pieces took hours. But we aren’t in a race here. Even with a huge pile of puzzles yet to do, there’s no hurry.
I felt like this was one of my favorite puzzles of all time. I can’t really put my finger on why. It’s like when you go to an art museum and a piece sticks with you days later. You’re drawn to it, but it’s almost like a subconscious thing. Or I’m crazy. Or both!
Great Artist
Artist Art Poulin was behind the art in this puzzle. This is our second puzzle of his work. The first, Roses at Snapdragons, was similar in its feel. And just as great. We will continue to seek out puzzles of his works as we really enjoy them!

The Last Piece
This puzzle contains 2000 pieces. The final puzzle is about 39″ wide and 27″ high. It completely filled the puzzle board we use. There was no poster included. The image on the front of the box is obscured in places, which is kind of annoying if you need it for reference. The pieces fit fairly well but are somewhat loose. But we did get this puzzle used and that may be why. The image is well-done and fun to look at.
Here are just some of the fun things to be found in this puzzle!
