My Awesome Collection 1989 Puzzle from Buffalo Games

We could actually smell the pencil erasers in the My Awesome Collection 1989 puzzle from Buffalo Games. Aimee Stewart, one of our favorite artists, gathered up a lot of the things we remember from our school years and put them in a large, colorful puzzle that was a true joy to assemble and even more fun to look at. This is one of our favorites from Ms. Stewart.

Sorting Time

We begin every puzzle by sorting the pieces by color, pulling out any edges and corners. This My Awesome Collection 1989 puzzle by Buffalo Games was a sorting challenge. The pieces are very, very colorful. It was very difficult to decide which pile many of the pieces would go in to. Red? Green? Yellow? Some pieces could easily go into 3 or 4 different color piles. Fun. And challenging. There are lots of great childhood memories to be found in this puzzle.

The Last Piece

This puzzle contains 1000 pieces. The final puzzle is about 27″ wide and 20″ high. There is a poster included. The pieces fit fairly well. The image is very well-done and fun to look at.

Pizza and Pocket Change Puzzle from Buffalo Games

What a truly fun puzzle this Pizza and Pocket Change puzzle from Buffalo Games was! It caught our attention in the grocery store (we always peruse the puzzle section) and we had to grab it. Not only because of the way-cool imagery but also because it’s from one of our all-time favorite artists, Aimee Stewart! This is definitely one of our favorite puzzles of all time!

The Search Is On!

It’s so fun to find the many, many objects in this Pizza and Pocket Change puzzle from Buffalo Games. Cool things. Things from our childhood. And they’re all so wonderfully colorful too! And don’t worry, this isn’t some clipart-style puzzle where objects are placed willy-nilly. Everything makes sense. Everything is fun! It’s another Aimee Stewart great!

The Last Piece

This is a 1000 piece puzzle. It included a very colorful poster. The assembled puzzle is about 20″ wide and 27″ high. The pieces are thick and fit well. The image quality on the pieces is very good. We had a tough time sorting (we always sort by color) because there are so many colors! Colors everywhere! But we actually found the puzzle itself to be fairly easy to assemble thanks to the many (fairly obvious) objects. This is a great puzzle full of fun stuff!

There’s a reason why you’ll find so many puzzles here on Puzzling for Fun that were designed by Aimee Stewart. We find her works to be fantastic and enjoyable. Some are more modern, some are more a nod to days gone by. Like this one, The Nostalgic Baker Puzzle from Buffalo Games. There are so many cool things in this puzzle. Things we’d find in our grandma’s kitchen. Or mom’s. Heck, even our own!

The Details Matter

There are so many little touches in this The Nostalgic Baker Puzzle from Buffalo Games. Hand-written recipes. Spilled cookie sprinkles. The things that, when you’ve put in the last piece, you step back and spend time enjoying. We found ourselves pointing to items, saying ‘oh I remember that’ and ‘my mom has one of those’. This is another great Aimee Stewart puzzle.

This puzzle included a poster. A fantastic, full-color poster. There are 1000 pieces in this puzzle. The assembled puzzle is about 20″ high and 27″ wide. The pieces fit very well and the image quality on the pieces is fantastic. The colors were great. This is a very fun puzzle to do and enjoy afterwards. We consider it to be one of Aimee Stewart’s best.

Breakfast In Bed Puzzle from Buffalo Games

Sometimes I feel a little like a broken record when I say “We love Aimee Stewart’s puzzles”. But it’s so true. The combination of the often nostalgic images and the wonderful colors appeals to us. This Breakfast in Bed puzzle from Buffalo Games is another of Ms. Stewart’s great works. It’s not overly complex, but subtle in many ways. How can you beat a great breakfast in bed, with a book, flowers, kitties and more?

It’s Not All Avocado Toast and Kittens

There are parts of this Breakfast in Bed puzzle that were a big challenging. Actually quite a few spots were. While the image is quite colorful and crisp on the left side of the puzzle, much of the right side is softer, more subdued. The colors are more pastel. Not super hard, but that part of the puzzle took us a little longer than the rest.

The Grand Fiction Library Puzzle from Buffalo Games

Wow, what a puzzle. This is one of the most amazing works from Aimee Stewart that we’ve ever completed. It’s fantastic in every way. The artistry is unbelievable. So many objects, with such detail and color that we found ourselves enjoying it for hours. It’s not usual for us to keep a completed puzzle around for just a little bit before moving on to the next one. Not this one. The Grand Fiction Library puzzle from Buffalo Games was one we had to sit and admire for days.

Not Easy. But Worth It.

The Grand Fiction Library puzzle from Buffalo Games took us a while to assemble. But first came the sorting. We always begin our puzzles by separating the edges and then the pieces, by color. Yeah, that was a challenge with this one. There are so many colors. Everywhere. Lots of similar one. Tons of them. We used 16 different containers to sort, a new record for us!

It took us days to assemble this one. It was the most challenging fun we’ve had. Aimee Stewart, one of our favorite artists, really did a great job on this one!

This 2000 piece puzzle included 3 posters! Good thing, because you might be tempted to invite friends over to help! The assembled puzzle is about 39″ wide and 27″ high. It’s a big one! The pieces are small and stay together well. The colors are amazing. This is a quality puzzle that brings hours of enjoyment, and it’s a great value for the money!

Winter Reading Nook Puzzle from Buffalo Games

The Winter Reading Nook Puzzle from Buffalo Games is a great example of Aimee Stewart’s amazing artwork. Fantastic scenes. Bright colors. And wonderful detail. Although at first glance this looks like it might be a terribly challenging puzzle, it actually ended up being completely frustration-free and a true joy to complete. That’s not to say there weren’t spots that made us go ‘hmmmm’, but there is still lots of fun to go around.

Stop And Look

It pays to take some time after you complete this Winter Reading Nook Puzzle from Buffalo Games and just enjoy the many great objects you will find. A genie lamp. An Alice in Wonderland book. A snow globe. The northern lights. So many, many things. And of course, there’s Ms. Stewart’s signature fox. This puzzle is why we are big fans of her work. We know that we are always going to have a puzzle that makes us happy, from the first piece to the last!

Cookies and Cocoa Puzzle from Buffalo Games

Sometimes, it seems we can finish a puzzle from artist Aimee Stewart in the blink of an eye. Not that we’re in a hurry mind you. And it’s not that her puzzles are particularly easy. No, it’s more a matter of us getting in the ‘puzzle zone’. That’s when pieces just seem to fall into place. Well, that didn’t happen with this Cookies and Cocoa puzzle from Buffalo Games. Aimee Stewart got us on this one. We were definitely not in the ‘puzzle zone’. There were challenges to be found everywhere. Lots of patterns. Lots of colors. And a lot of little detail. It’s a great challenge and truly an enjoyable one!

The Fox

We didn’t find out until after we’d completed a few of Aimee Stewart’s puzzles that she often includes a fox in her art. Sometimes the fox is kind of hidden. Sometimes it’s not. Like in this Cookies and Cocoa puzzle from Buffalo games. There’s no missing the fox for sure!

Vintage Cards

There’s a lot of really neat stuff in this puzzle. Great old Christmas cards for starters. Old plates. Mittens too! And sweets and treats that we remember from our childhoods. It’s another wonderful puzzle by one of our favorite artists.

The Last Piece

This 1000 piece puzzle included a poster and is around 27″ wide and 20″ high when assembled. The pieces fit very well and the image quality on the pieces is good. The colors were great and the pieces are cut perfectly. The completed puzzle is a joy to sit back and look at. You’ll find many vintage pictures, recipes and Christmas cards.

Blanket Fort 1979 Puzzle from Buffalo Games

This Blanket Fort 1979 puzzle from Buffalo Games is one of Aimee Stewart’s most colorful works. And as with many of her works, there’s a lot going on. Lots of things that flash me back to the 70s. Flashback to days building blanket forts in the living room while watching Saturday morning cartoons. Although there’s nothing cartoony about this puzzle, there are tons of cool 70s things to be found. Too many to even start to list. They sure do add to the fun of putting this masterpiece together!

Hide and Seek

This puzzle is kind of a like a game of hide and seek. Or a treasure hunt. There are objects galore in this Blanket Fort 1979 puzzle from Buffalo Games. My wife particularly enjoyed this vintage bowl. As a collector of old dishes, finding it made her smile! It’s just another thing that makes this puzzle a joy.

It’s Not All Fun And Games

Sure, it was a pleasure to step back after the last piece went into this puzzle and enjoy the colors and the objects. But getting to that moment was challenging at times. The colors in this puzzle are a treat but they make parts of the puzzle difficult. A fun difficult, though.

Beachcomber’s Bounty Puzzle from Buffalo Games

This was easily the hardest puzzle we’ve done. Or would it be hardly the easiest? There were so many challenging spots in this Beachcomber’s Bounty puzzle from Buffalo Games. Designed by one of our favorite artists, Aimee Stewart, it contains a myriad of beach finds. Of every size and color imaginable, too. The only thing easy about this puzzle was when (after almost two weeks!) we got the last piece! At least we knew where it belonged!

Challenges Abound

I wish I could say there was a particularly easy area in this puzzle. Some place to point to where the pieces dropped into place almost by themselves. But nope. Once we got past the edges it was challenge after challenge. And boy did we ever enjoy the final results. Beachcomber’s Bounty puzzle from Buffalo Games is another wonderfully colorful Aimee Stewart work. It’s one we can look at for hours.

Like most of Ms. Stewart’s puzzles, this one does include the image of a fox. I won’t tell you where it is so as to not ruin the surprise but it’s there! Happy hunting!

Family Campsite Puzzle from Buffalo Games

This Family Campsite puzzle from Buffalo Games was our first puzzle with hidden images. Honestly, I didn’t even notice it on the box. I just saw that the artist was Aimee Stewart. That’s all I needed to know that it would be a great puzzle. The hidden image thing ended up being a bonus.

Fun Things. Everywhere.

This is not our first Aimee Stewart puzzle that was absolutely full of objects. Everywhere. If you ever went camping back in the 70s or 80s, chances are a lot of the items you packed for the trip can be found in this puzzle. There’s definitely no shortage of things, colorful and fun, in this Family Campsite puzzle from Buffalo Games.

After you’re done, there’s a list of 10 images you’ll need to find inside the puzzle. They’re not too hard to find. And it’s fun to find them.

You could also do like we did and kinda keep an eye out for the hidden images as you put the puzzle together!

The assembled puzzle is about 21″ wide and 15″ high. The pieces fit very well and the image quality on the pieces is fantastic. The colors were great and the pieces are cut perfectly. This is a quality puzzle that brings hours of enjoyment.
