Ice Cream Shop Window Puzzle from Ceaco

Whew. We made it. We finished the Ice Cream Shop Window puzzle from Ceaco. All 2000 pieces of it. Done. Completed. We sighed a sigh of relief when that last piece went in. What a wonderful puzzle to sit back and enjoy. But it was not without its challenges, that’s for sure. This one took us a while to finish. But it was oh so worth the effort!

So Much Going On

There’s a lot going on in this Ice Cream Shop Window puzzle from Ceaco. When you’re done with it you have to stand back and really look at it. Everywhere. Every inch. It’s really quite an amazing puzzle. And you’ll remember the spots that gave you ‘trouble’. Like the bricks. And the wood window and door frames.

The Last Piece

This 2000 piece puzzle included a poster. The assembled puzzle is about 38″ wide and 26″ high. The pieces fit really well and the image quality on the pieces is very good. It was fairly hard to put a piece into the wrong place. The picture (or drawing) is like a piece of art. It’s very well done and definitely not a case of ‘clip art.’ This is a challenging puzzle but one of our all-time favorites.

The Last Piece

This puzzle includes a very nice colorful, quality poster. There are 1000 wonderfully-colored pieces and they are nice and thick and fit amazingly well. So well that I was able to pick up the finished puzzle by a corner piece and walk around with it without losing a single piece. The assembled puzzle is about 27″ wide and 20″ high. This is a quality puzzle that brings hours of enjoyment. There are essentially two different style cuts of pieces outside of the edges. This makes the puzzle a bit easier to assemble.

Disney Tsum Tsum Puzzle from Ceaco

You never know what puzzles you might find in an antique mall or flea market. Sometimes you go bust. Sometimes you find magic. I came across this Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle from Ceaco in an antique mall in El Paso, Illinois. For $2 no way was I going to pass it up. The picture looked fun. Even though I had no clue then what a Tsum Tsum is, I had to get it.

Lots of Interesting Faces

There are all sorts of wonderful characters in the Disney Tsum Tsum puzzle from Ceaco. Fortunately, though, they are all facing forward. If they’d been oriented randomly we’d still be working on this puzzle weeks after starting. The colors and the faces were all that saved us from a long time of puzzling.

This was a really fun puzzle. It is one of our all-time favorites. It is an older puzzle. I was not able to find it available new online, though I did see a few used ones on eBay. Ceaco makes a similar puzzle that is still available (below).

What’s A Tsum Tsum?

Heck I didn’t have a clue what a tsum tsum is. Well, after a little research I found that it’s a very very popular toy in Japan, mostly, but also elsewhere. Pronounced ‘(t)soom (t)soom’, the toys are highly collectible. And kinda cute, I have to admit. And they make for a great puzzle, too!

The Last Piece

This is a 300 piece puzzle. It did not include a poster. The assembled puzzle is about 19″ wide and 19″ high. The pieces are thick, fit well and the image quality on the pieces is good. The colors were great and bright. The characters are whimsical. This puzzle was fun to assemble and was a joy to look at when completed.

Christmas Houses Puzzle from Ceaco

Surely we can’t be the only ones that this happens to. The temperature outside drops just a little (it’s the beginning of Fall here) and suddenly, we have to do a Christmas puzzle. It’s really still way above freezing and nowhere near time to snow, but by golly, we gotta do a snowy, Christmas-tree, crowd-singing-carols, snowmen-everywhere puzzle. And we did. And we so enjoyed the Christmas Houses puzzle from Ceaco. It was fun from the first piece to the last!

Warm Snow

It may seem odd but we thought this Christmas Houses puzzle was ‘warm’. Despite the snow. And people in coats. There was a warmth to it. The colors. The glow from fires and handles. It just felt warm.

We cannot find this puzzle from Ceaco available for sale new online even though it’s not that old. You can visit their store and find plenty of other amazing puzzles, though. Or maybe you’ll get lucky and find one in your parents’ attic, like we did! New even!

The Last Piece

This 1000 piece puzzle included a wonderful, large poster. The puzzle is very frameable. For that matter, the poster is too! The assembled puzzle is about 27″ wide and 19″ high. The pieces fit rather loosely. The puzzle picture is amazingly bright and colorful.

Mickey and Friends Boardwalk Fun Puzzle from Ceaco

The image on the front of the box for this Mickey and Friends Boardwalk Fun puzzle from Ceaco really caught my eye when we were ‘visiting’ the puzzle section of our local grocery store. The colors. The cartoon characters. Everything about it screamed ‘fun’. I’m a big fan of cartoons (I highly recommend watching the TV show Toon In With Me on MeTV) so I was so looking forward to making this puzzle. But then…..

Great Picture. Not So Great Quality.

As I mentioned I was drawn to the picture on the box when I bought this Mickey and Friends Boardwalk fun puzzle from Ceaco. And that didn’t end when I stepped back to enjoy the final result. Bright colors. Great images. It’s the time in between the purchase and the putting in the final piece that wasn’t as enjoyable. The pieces just weren’t cut right. One had to be modified with a knife to get it to fit together right. If I tried a piece in the wrong spot I had to be super careful removing it or I’d get 5 or more pieces with it. Oh and if you’re like me and like to assemble smaller portions of the puzzle off to the side and then move it to the puzzle, good luck. The pieces don’t fit well enough to make that an easy task!

The Last Piece

This 1500 piece puzzle included a very colorful, nice poster. The assembled puzzle is about 32″ wide and 24″ high. The pieces fit very loosely and are not cut very well at all. If you even touch the puzzle inadvertently the pieces will tend to come apart, at least until the entire puzzle is assembled. The image quality on the pieces themselves is very good.
