We think one of the signs that you really enjoy a puzzle is when you spend just as much time looking at the finished art as you did assembling it. The Moonmeadow Cove Puzzle from Buffalo Games is a good example of a really enjoyable puzzle for us. It’s classic Charles Wysocki in many ways. The Americana-style setting. Smoke coming from chimneys. Horses pulling carts. All the things that we usually associate with a Wysocki creation.

Not As Easy As It Looks

We all have different skill levels when it comes to puzzles. We’ve certainly done our share of puzzles. And almost every single one has had its ‘spots’. Those spots that take a little more thought to complete. This Moonmeadow Cove Puzzle from Buffalo Games had its spots, too. The trees were one with their darker colors. The rocks at the bottom were similar, making it a little tougher to know what went where. And the big house in the middle had its challenges too. These were not frustrating challenges, no. They were fun and we really enjoyed this puzzle from start to finish.

The Last Piece

This 1000-piece puzzle included a poster. The assembled puzzle is about 27″ wide and 20″ high. The pieces fit tightly. We did have a few ‘false fits’ as we assembled it. You know, those pieces that test you, thinking they go where you put them but they really don’t. The color and image quality are fantastic.
